Expressions with go

Hi everyone,
I have to practice my English because I am trying to get the B2 level, then I've thought I could practice here.
First of all I'll try to practice the new words and expresion or grammar I'd learnt in class.
If someone wants to correct all my mistakes at comments I will be grateful ;)

Expressions with go:
There is an expression I've heart a lot in TV series I usually watch. That is:
What's going on? This means... To happen (¿Qué está pasando?)
Another expression is Go down with... It means to catch an illness. I've gone down with flu.
The most difficult for me is go to great lengths  is to take a lot of time and effort. I went to great length to make the party a success.

I'll try to practice with these. I hope you too but remember that I' m just a student And something could be wrong, although the examples are from the book.
